Hannah Milic

Hannah's love and appreciation for nature comes from a childhood of playing in the creek behind her house. In fact, her greatest joy as a child was giving her parents heart attacks from jumping into every single pool, lake, ocean and river she came across (her parents channeled this and put her in swim club at 3 years old). Originally from the mainland, her love of water got so bad that she decided to move to the island so that she would never have to be further than 5 minutes away from the ocean. As an adult, you can find her surfing, mountain biking, and exploring the extensive network of backroads all over Vancouver Island with her partner and friends.

Graduating from the University of Victoria with a bachelor's degree in English, Hannah has worked as a communications coordinator and technical writer, and is very excited to be starting a new chapter writing grants and working in fundraising!
