James Heth

Chief Administrative Officer, Village of Salmo
James grew up in national parks enjoying just about any mountain activity, and has been a Vancouver program volunteer with Power To Be since 2017. He holds a BSc in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary, a Law degree from UBC, and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Dalhousie University. James brings his professional experience, and deep understanding of not for profit governance, including sitting on the North Van Recreation Commission and the Kootenay Adaptive Sport Boards. He recognizes that access to the outdoors is crucial to well-being, and is excited to contribute to an organization that creates access to these natural spaces and new opportunities for the community.
