Jordan (she/her), is one of our newest members here at Power To Be as our Summer Program Facilitator.

Jordan has spent the past 7 years working with kiddos and all sorts of folks in beautiful and magical places — from teaching preschool in Sooke, to training as a zodiac guide in Haida Gwaii, kayak guiding all over Vancouver Island and working as an Educational Assistant for School District 62. Jordan is all about adventure, community, play and making genuine connections.

Outside of work and volunteering, you’ll most likely find Jordan in the ocean or covered in dog hair. She is a dog mom to her fur baby Honey, a 6-year-old golden retriever and total beam of sunshine.

Jordan is all about the simple things in life, with a serious love for live music and our many local island music festivals, she also enjoys birding, photography, long drives, open mic nights, creating art, sewing, fashion and deep philosophical conversations about healing our inner child.
