Julia Knight

Julia grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, and spent many summers camping with her family throughout interior BC and the Gulf Islands. In 2008, she jumped at the opportunity to relocate to the West Coast—drawn by a lifelong awe for its natural beauty. Today, she loves taking her son bike camping and exploring the coast and islands, deepening her appreciation for the impact nature has on their lives.

Although new to the non-profit sector, Julia’s varied career in music, hospitality, sales, and administration has always been anchored by a commitment to community. She values meaningful connection with both people and place and is passionate about helping build inclusive, welcoming communities for all.
