Katie’s love for the outdoors stems from growing up exploring Vancouver Island forests and beaches and spending summers on Hornby Island. Always finding time for travel, she has taken various extended leaves throughout her education and working career to explore Europe, South East Asia, and Central and South America.

Katie is keen to keep on travelling the world and to continue experiencing and learning from new cultures. Katie received her BComm in accounting from UBC and then her CPA, CA designation in 2015. She has worked for a small accounting firm in Victoria and most recently for Deloitte as a Tax Manager. She has a passion to utilize her finance and business skills to give back to the community.
