Kirsten Norris

Originally from Ontario, Kirsten’s path west included time in the Rockies before she settled on Vancouver Island nearly 20 years ago. She quickly fell in love with the Island and the many opportunities it offers to spend time outdoors.

As Grants Officer at Power To Be, Kirsten is excited to contribute to an organization that creates meaningful opportunities for people to connect, participate, and experience the outdoors. She especially values the commitment at Power To Be to removing barriers and creating opportunities for people of all abilities and circumstances to experience the connection, confidence, and sense of belonging that can come from time spent in nature.

Outside of work, Kirsten is happiest exploring the Island with her family — whether discovering a new trail, spending time on the water, or simply enjoying everything the West Coast has to offer.
