Mary Lou is the co-owner of Mayfair Optometric Clinic, where she partners with Dr. Stephen Taylor to provide exceptional eye care services. As a dedicated community champion, Mary Lou has cultivated an extensive network within the Greater Victoria area, leveraging her connections to foster community engagement and support.

Mary Lou’s passion for Power To Be is deeply rooted and multi-faceted. During her studies at Royal Roads University, she earned a Graduate Certificate in Values-Based Leadership, which included an in-depth case study of Power To Be. This experience allowed her to gain a profound appreciation for the organization’s mission and the work they do to ensure everyone can enjoy nature, regardless of any barriers they may face.

Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, Mary Lou is an avid dog lover. She cherishes her time outdoors with her beloved furry companion, Arch-EE. Whether hiking, exploring local parks, or simply enjoying a peaceful walk, Mary Lou finds joy and inspiration in nature.
