Oren Levine

Oren grew up in Montreal, and has lived in quite a few cities and towns before landing on the island about 10 years ago. Having spent some very formative years guiding whitewater canoe trips in Quebec and Ontario, Oren has fostered an enduring love for nature, and has a profound appreciation for the impact it can have on those who are touched by it.

With a background in arts-based program development and promotion, outreach and communications, and graphic design, Oren strongly believes that words and images have the power to incite positive change and create lasting impact. He is driven by community-based organizing, continuous learning, and creating accessible and inclusive spaces, and is thrilled to be using his experience and skillset for a cause he holds so dear to his heart.

Oren lives with his partner, toddler, sweet anxious dog Ollie, and a tuxedo cat named Ro. When not at work, you can find him on a family hike (stroll), connecting with pals, fretting about the well-being of his houseplants, or dreaming of what’s to come.
