Tamara Monod (She/Her)

After spending her childhood roaming the forests and mountains of the Canadian Rockies in Banff National Park, Tamara sailed around the world with Class Afloat where she developed a passion for people and cultures. In 2011 she moved out to Vancouver Island and fell in love with all that it has to offer.

Tamara's passion for people and cultures was the catalyst to her educational journey. She has obtained a major in Recreation and Health Education, a minor in Anthropology and a PDD in Human Resource management. After 2 years with the Facilities & Assets team with Power To Be she is excitedly pursuing her HR goals with the People & Culture team. Tamara values equity, inclusion, and growth through curiosity and creativity. She fosters these values by striving to offer everyone access to the nature around them.
