Ted Morris

Ted is a steward of both people and land. He's spent years working outside tending to native plant gardens, food gardens, and wooded trails - all the while bringing people along with him to connect with each other and to the natural world. As the Grounds Maintenance Technician, he's very grateful to work on these lands to create a safe, accessible, and inclusive environment for everyone that visits Power To Be. He brings his experience as a property manager and outdoor educator at a rural arts centre in Canning, NS, as well as a participatory community designer in Halifax. He's a jack of all trades, master of some!

Outside of this work, Ted's also a musician and tours the country regularly. While he keeps busy, he does enjoy the down time in life when he can go on a cycling or hiking trip, bake sourdough bread, or brew kombucha.
