Hi there, my name is Tamara and I lead the People and Culture team here at Power To Be.
When I think about what makes Power To Be special, I think about our people. Culture is something we all create together. It’s in how we welcome each other, how we make space for different experiences and perspectives, and how we create a community where people can show up as themselves.
That’s why it was pretty exciting to see Power To Be recognized with the Untapped Inclusive Culture Award this quarter! It’s a wonderful honour and a celebration of something that matters deeply to us: continuing to build a workplace and community where inclusion and belonging are part of how we do things every day.
And what a quarter it was! Q3 was busy, fun, and full of adventure. We ran 93 programs and had 944 participant visits! There were incredible trips, lots of time outside, new experiences, plenty of laughter, and so many moments of connection across our community.
